Acadia Alumni Ladies are enVyous!!!
enVy sleeps with Maritimers...and for good reason!
Hi Kathy / Kim
This week was the 3rd annual get-together for a group of us who went to Acadia University. Marlene (on the right) already has an enVy pillow that I gave her a while back. She, like I, raves about the quality of sleep she has with enVy (and of course the quality of the pillow). I felt it just was not right that Marlene and I show up with our enVy pillows, and have a great sleep while there and our friends (Angie and Shelley) had to sleep on regular every day pillows at the Oak Island Resort. So I brought some enVy pillows with me on my drive from Ontario to give to my friends as gifts. I handed them their enVy pillows the day we arrived, and as you see from the picture taken at the Chester Golf Club in Chester, Nova Scotia, this group of Nova Scotia ladies (and Acadia alumni) are now quite enVyous!! We are looking forward to a reunion of our pillows in 2012.
Oh, and the new enVy pillow Marlene has in her arms? That is for her Mom - as Marlene wanted her Mom to be enVyous too.
Currently loving my enVy in Cape Breton!!

Diary of a New enVy Pillow User...
Kim and I were thrilled to receive these daily enVy Pillow reports from Gretchen....
Dear enVy Pillow,
Bought one of your ENVY pillows today from DLC Medaesthetica in Burlington. Can't wait to try it overnight. Will let you know!!! It was interesting to hear the testimonial from the Receptionist - she was an "un-believer", I understand. She is now so in love with your pillow that she has one at home, one at the cottage, and if she travels, she bundles one up and takes it with her! She wouldn't be without it, not for one night!!!! Stay tuned!!! Gretchen
Assessment after "Night #1": Noticed the Envy pillow was thinner than regular pillow. That will take some getting used to! Slept much better - minimal tossing and turning (sheet & duvet were hardly disturbed - usually, they are all over the place in the morning)! Feltgood to have a place to put my head that seemed "sculpted" for it!! Feeling the edge of the pillow touching my shoulder was a plus ... I could never get my regular pillow to feel that way! Stay tuned - as I progress through this week!!! Gretchen
Night #2 : With the complete disintegration of discs at L1/L2 level, and bulging discs at T12/T11 level, it has been almost completely impossible for me to sleep on my left side (used to be my favourite side). If I sometimes try to sleep on my left side, I waken with leg cramps! Last night, with my EnVy pillow in place, I started on my left side - got up once in the night - and woke up this morning ON MY LEFT SIDE!!!! No pain - no nasty leg cramps - just comfort! Wow! Gretchen
Night #3 : Getting used to a pillow which feels moulded to the contours of my head and neck. No more sliding around, or punching a pillow to make it fit! Minimal movement to turn from one side to the other - less thrashing around to find a comfortable spot! I think this is going to work....!!!!! Gretchen
Night # 4: I THINK I'M IN LOVE .... with my new enVy pillow! Thanks, Kathy and Kim, for inventing it ... and thanks Zoomer Magazine for alerting your readers to its existence!!!! Gretchen :-D
Zoomer Magazine Discovers enVy Pillow!!!
ZOOMER MAGAZINE July/August 2011
Registered nurses Kim Renton and Kathy Young Keefe first met crashing into the boards at an all-moms hockey game. Over a post-game glass of wine, they realized that they shared a mutual passion ~ the pursuit of the perfect pillow. For Renton, who has years of experience performing and consulting on Botox procedures, the interest was primarily aesthetic: cosmetic dermatologist have long known that side and stomach sleepers develop deep lines on their faces from squishing them into their pillows. Young Keefe insisted that the perfect pillow shoal also provide the cervical spinal support necessary to ease or prevent chronic neck and back pain. Two and a half years of research and development later, the enVy Pillow was born. Made in Canada from anti-allergenic, anti-microbial memory foam, the enVy Pillow's unique V-shape cradles the head to provide proper support and minimize the facial compression that causes sleep lines. Chiropractor and Physiotherapist endorsed, it features a pattern of raised bubbles to improve breathing and allow for a more restful sleep.
