Chances Are You Did This Last Night in Bed⤴

Can the Way We Sleep Cause Wrinkles?

YES. And sleeping in the wrong position (side or stomach sleeping) will  increase  your chances of developing these sleep wrinkles, which can become permanent as we age and create 'Pillow Face'.

Unlike expression lines, sleep wrinkles are mechanical lines caused by hours of nightly pressure on the same areas of the face.

We're told to sleep on our backs to prevent this facial compression...BUT 75%of us Prefer Side Sleeping!

We crafted this patented pillow to avoid and prevent wrinkles and encourage more effective beauty sleep either on your side or back.

Training ourselves to learn to sleep on our back is almost impossible. As 2 Canadian Nurses in the anti-aging field we were motivated to create the one pillow that allows side sleeping WITHOUT the unwanted face smushing effects!

What Are Sleep Wrinkles (and Why They’re Different)?

Sleep wrinkles are caused by repeated facial compression during sleep. They form when the face is pressed into a pillow for hours each night, folding the skin in the same direction over and over again.

Unlike expression lines, which come from muscle movement, sleep wrinkles are mechanical. Over time, this nightly pressure can lead to lines that linger long after you wake up.

How the enVy® Pillow Reduces Facial Compression During Sleep

Traditional pillows push the face inward. The enVy® Pillow helps keep pressure off the face while supporting proper neck alignment.
Do not add claims.

The American Academy of Dermatology notes that sleeping on our side with our faces pressed into our pillow causes sleep lines or sleep wrinkles. As we age and repeat this nightly habit during our beauty sleep, these sleep wrinkles become permanent and are often mistaken for naturally aging skin.

The trained eye can quickly identify what side you sleep on by the tell tale vertical and diagonal creases. Sleep lines cannot be reproduced with facial expression . Sleep wrinkles often disappear once you wake up and start your day. HOWEVER over time and as we age the creases caused by our sleep will become deeper and more and more permanent.

How the enVy® Pillow Helps Reduce Sleep Wrinkles

The enVy® Pillow helps reduce sleep wrinkles by minimizing facial compression during side sleeping while supporting proper neck alignment — without forcing you to sleep on your back.

The COPPER infused Silk Eye Mask by enVy® - enVy Pillow

Pair With Our COPPER + HA Sleep Mask

For those looking for maximum coverage around the delicate eye and orbital area, the enVy COPPER + Hyaluronic Acid sleep mask is designed to work alongside the enVy® Pillow.

The mask provides direct, extended contact with COPPER- and HA-infused fabric across the eyes and surrounding skin — an area especially prone to sleep wrinkles, dehydration, and sensitivity.

While the pillow reduces facial compression during sleep, the COPPER + HA sleep mask helps support a calmer, more hydrated skin environment in the eye area through overnight contact with smooth, low-friction, bio-functional fabric.

Used together, the pillow and sleep mask create a layered approach to sleep comfort and skin support — without forcing sleep position or replacing cosmetic treatments.

Anti-Wrinkle Sleep — Frequently Asked Questions

What are sleep wrinkles?

Sleep wrinkles are mechanical lines caused by repeated facial compression during sleep. They form when the face is pressed into a pillow for hours each night, folding the skin in the same direction over and over again. Unlike expression lines, sleep wrinkles are not caused by muscle movement.

Can a pillow really cause wrinkles?

Yes. Traditional pillows can push the face inward during side sleeping, creating prolonged pressure on delicate facial skin. Over time, this repeated compression can contribute to sleep wrinkles — especially as skin naturally becomes less elastic with age.

How does the enVy® Pillow help reduce sleep wrinkles?

The enVy® Pillow is designed to help reduce facial compression during sleep while supporting proper neck alignment. By keeping pressure off the face rather than pushing into it, the pillow helps create a sleep position that is gentler on the skin — without forcing you to sleep on your back.

Is the enVy® Pillow only for back sleepers?

Yes! The enVy® Pillow was designed specifically for side sleepers and/ or back sleepers. Unlike many "anti-aging" pillows that require back sleeping, enVy® supports comfortable side sleeping while helping reduce facial pressure.

Will this pillow erase wrinkles or replace cosmetic treatments?

The enVy® Pillow may help reduce the severity of existing sleep wrinkles by removing nightly pressure on facial tissue.

It does not erase deeper, more permanent wrinkles or replace cosmetic procedures.

The pillow is designed to support smoother-looking skin over time by reducing nightly facial compression — one of the physical contributors to sleep wrinkles.

Why do materials matter for sleep wrinkles?

The enVy® Pillow is paired with some of the smoothest, lowest-friction fabrics available, including pure mulberry silk and vegan silk (TENCEL™), to help minimize tugging and friction against the skin during sleep.

Select enVy® pillowcases and accessories are infused with bio-functional COPPER, which has been studied for its role in supporting skin health, including helping stimulate collagen and elastin production at the skin level. COPPER is also known for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, helping create a cleaner, calmer sleep surface.

Newer enVy® fabric infusions also include Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring molecule in the skin known for its moisture-binding properties. When used in sleep fabrics, HA may help support skin hydration overnight, contributing to a more plump, comfortable skin feel by morning.

Together, these materials work alongside the pillow’s pressure-reducing design to support smoother-looking, well-hydrated skin over time—without forcing sleep position or relying on cosmetic treatments.

Does COPPER and Hyaluronic Acid in enVy® fabrics offer skin benefits?

Select enVy® pillowcases and accessories incorporate bio-functional COPPER, which has been studied for its role in supporting skin health, including helping stimulate collagen and elastin production at the skin level. COPPER is also known for its anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Some enVy fabric infusions also include Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring molecule in the skin known for its moisture-binding properties. When used in sleep fabrics, HA may help support overnight hydration and skin comfort.

These fabric technologies are designed to support the skin’s environment during sleep and work alongside the pillow’s pressure-reducing design. They do not replace skincare products or cosmetic treatments.

How long does it take to notice a difference?

Many people notice reduced facial pressure immediately. Skin changes, however, occur gradually. Consistent nightly use is key, as sleep wrinkles form over time — and reducing their cause works the same way.

Who designed the enVy® Pillow?

The enVy Pillow was designed by Canadian nurses with decades of experience in aesthetics, skin health, and ergonomic sleep support, after seeing firsthand how sleep posture can affect both the face and the neck.

"A doctor once said that he could tell what side of my face I sleep on. Sleeping on your face ages you... true story, look it up."
