Why we created
Silk With a Purpose™.

Not everyone wants a new pillow. But many people wanted our silk pillowcase.

For years, our biofunctional silk was available exclusively on the enVy® Pillow, combining premium Mulberry silk with Canadian enVy COPPER® Technology. Supported by independent laboratory testing, we believed silk could be more than a luxury fabric—it could become a biofunctional sleep textile.

Over time, we heard from customers who loved the pillow they already slept on but wanted access to our COPPER-infused silk.

“I love my current pillow. I just want your silk.”

That simple request inspired Silk With a Purpose™.

We created our first standard Queen-size silk pillowcases, allowing people to experience our biofunctional sleep fabrics on the pillow they already know and love.

Crafted from premium 22 momme Mulberry silk and infused in Canada with proprietary enVy COPPER® Technology, Silk With a Purpose™ was designed to deliver more than the traditional benefits of silk alone.

Biofunctional silk designed for more than smoothness.

Most silk pillowcases focus solely on friction reduction. enVy® Silk With a Purpose™ combines premium Mulberry silk with proprietary Canadian enVy COPPER® Technology, permanently infused into the fabric to support a cleaner sleep environment while preserving the luxurious feel of silk.

For the COPPER + HYLA⁺ version, Hyaluronic Acid is added to support overnight skin hydration. The COPPER technology remains permanent; the Hyaluronic Acid component is designed to gradually diminish with washing over time.

A registered nurse with decades of experience in sleep wellness and spinal health, Kathy co-authored the 2015 peer-reviewed article on sleep positioning and facial tissue compression in the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing. Her personal experience with scoliosis surgery at Toronto's SickKids Hospital, and her subsequent nursing career in ICU and burn units, shaped a lifelong focus on safer, smarter sleep surfaces.
